Hi Jane,
I followed your link from the KLC newletter and have really enjoyed reading your blog. I have been enrolled on the Garden Design course for about 4 years and cannot seem to get going!! How sad is that. In my defence, I am currently living with my husband in a one-bedroom attic flat just outside Munich so not much chance to get my hands dirty. So my one question is..how did you get started with the course? I’m on a Big Drive to get the first project in by the end of August but please don’t watch this space.
Anyway, as I said, your Blog was great to read and I’m in love with your garden.
Best wishes from a cold and sunny Bavaria.

Great to hear from you and I’m so glad you like my blog. And my garden. I can imagine that living in a one bedroomed flat makes things really difficult when it comes to planning gardens! I’m finding it challenging and I’m going into college twice a week. I’ve just had to completely throw myself into it and not worry too much about getting things wrong and making a fool of myself. The encouraging thing is that there are lots of people in the same boat and that even when you feel that you aren’t making any progress I think you probably are! So just don’t give up. I’ve found that things have a habit of working themselves out in ways we don’t expect.

All the best from a cold and cloudy England!
